Since both are all-terrain Truck Tires, they perform excellently on dry roads. Both have good grip and traction and the steering is quite responsive. The General Grabber AT2 is a bit noisy, especially because of the compound used, a slightly harder one.

In wet situations, the Cooper Discoverer A/T3 beats easily the General Grabber AT2. The Cooper Discoverer AT3 is the most civilized one. It provides better handling and comfort on highways and gravel roads. It is also a bit less noisy than the General Grabber AT2.

In our opinion, the Cooper Discoverer AT3 is the best combination of on roads and off-road capabilities. The General Grabber AT2 is better suited for rough terrains and less for highways.
