Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 SUV
This is one of the best SUV Winter Tires available on the market. It comes in different rim diameter sizes, from 17 inches to 21 inches. One of the best thing about the Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 SUV is that the tires will last for a long period of time. The tread life is excellent on these tires and the road noise is also excellent. Even so, Michelin does not recommend to use these tires for more that 3 or 4 years, even if there is enough tread on the tires. This is because, in time, the compound degrades and the tires won’t perform as good as a new one.

Michelin CrossClimate SUV
The Michelin CrossClimate SUV is a special Michelin SUV 4×4 Tire designed to deliver a top, safe performance in all weather situations and conditions.
This tire is designed for warm winters where there is little snow. This is not a proper Winter Tire. Even so, it performs quite good in light snow and decent in deep snow. But its best performance is on dry roads, even when the temperature is well bellow the freezing point. On wet surfaces this tire performs very well, making it one of the best Tires for SUV All season. It has decent fuel consumption and road noise.
One negative thing about this tire is that it takes quite a while to brake in the snow, but keep in mind that this is not a proper winter tire, thus is normal that it will perform worse in deep snow compared with a proper winter tire.

Michelin Latitude Cross
This is a multi-purpose 4X4 tire that provides the traction of an off-road tire, while keeping the comfort of an on-road tire. This, combined with an excellent mileage and impressive tread life, make it one of the best All Terrain SUV Tires available on the market. On dry, wet or even slushy surfaces these tires provide excellent grip.
The tires are good in off road conditions as well. They are not proper All Terrain tires, like the Michelin ATX AT/2 but they provide a good compromise between road driving and off road capabilities. We really love them.
Michelin LTX AT/2
Compared with its sibling, the Latitude Cross, the Michelin LTX AT/2 is better suited for rock climbing and other off road activities. This is a proper off road tire, thus it is a bit noisier. It came third in our Top 5 All Terrain Truck Tires.
